The Story Anew: Weaving a New Narrative for Humanity (A video interview series / podcast)

What is this?

The Story Anew is an idea that came to me and grew inside me over the last few months, as I found myself connected online to fascinating, inspiring people from all over the globe. I realised that my social media was becoming a place of regeneration, permaculture, trauma healing, decolonisation, and systemic design. What’s more, I was thrilled to find that I was no longer bombarded with only what’s going on in the English-speaking, mostly white and middle class Global North!

I decided to start reaching out for chats with these wonderful people - and I decided that perhaps others would enjoy listening to our conversations, too. So I recorded them.

Our conversations revolve around hope, questioning and dismantling the system that has brought us to the brink of climate collapse, healing the trauma that centuries of colonisation has caused, and the interconnectedness of life. My guests come from all over the world - South Africa, the Philippines, Brazil, Germany, Canada, Kenya, and Trinidad & Tobago, to name a few!
